Mom who left kids in hot car sentenced
The mother accused of leaving children in a hot car last summer while she shopped for swimwear at a Bemidji Target store has been sentenced to two years probation and a $100 fine, the Bemidji Pioneer reported.
Bianca Jean Hazelrigg, who was 21 when she was charged last June, last month pleaded guilty to a gross misdemeanor charge of child endangerment, the newspaper reported.
Hazelrigg was accused of leaving four children unattended in the car in 88-degree temperatures while she shopped for 29 minutes, the Pioneer reported.
