The mother of an 18-year-old man killed by a drunken driver in Olmstead County is blasting the five year and nine month sentence of woman convicted in the case. Sondra Deward, 23 (pictured), was intoxicated and driving the wrong way in June 2011 crash, which killed Tracy Nelson's son, Tyler Hoft, and 22-year-old Emery Van Hook. Another man was seriously injured in the crash.

Garrison Keillor's mother dies at 97

The mother of iconic Minnesota author and broadcaster Garrison Keillor has died. Grace Keillor died Friday at her home in Brooklyn Park at age 97, Garrison Keillor said in a news release. The "Prairie Home Companion" star wrote, "Mother had a good, long life" and said his mother "died in the house Dad built in 1947, with her children around her holding her hand and singing hymns."
