Akeem Springs made just two shots against the Hoosiers. His last one was the only one he needed to make Wednesday night successful.

Springs followed up his own missed 3-pointer and banked in the game-winning shot with 3 seconds left. Minnesota beat Indiana 75-74.

Great win Minnesota! Akeem Springs rebounds his own miss and nails the decisive put-back! It's much better w/Titanic music! ???????????? (@GopherMBB) pic.twitter.com/CI9c7m9bDM

Needles to say, the Williams Arena crowd went nuts. The win boosted Minnesota to 19-7 on the season (7-6 in the Big Ten), increasing their NCAA Tournament hopes while, at the same time, possibly ending Indiana's hopes.
