Need a furry intern? Uber to deliver kittens in the Twin Cities Thursday

Author:

Looking for company? Well, for a $30 "snuggle fee" Uber will deliver a kitten to your door for 15 minutes of playtime.

The car-sharing service is running the offer in 50 cities including Minneapolis-St. Paul on Thursday, as part of a charity promotion that in Minnesota will see proceeds benefit Animal Ark.

Between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., Uber users will be able to click on the "kittens" icon in the app and have one delivered to them. Most of the kittens involved in the delivery promotion are also available for adoption.

Anyone who wants to bring the kitties to their business must make sure there is a "dedicated room for kitten playtime," while ensuring anyone who has a cat allergy is happy to share their office with some new furry interns.

It has also warned that demand is expected to be high and the kittens are in limited supply, so users will have to be patient.
