Neighbor Jeanne Baumann tells KSTP petty crimes are an issue each year. "They've taken lawn ornaments, and people have different things in gardens, moon lights, little globe lights," Baumann said.

The Centers for Disease Control has confirmed that one case of swine flu has been linked to the Minnesota State Fair and two possible additional cases are pending. Minnesota Public Radio reports that in the three cases, people were either exhibiting hogs or were in the swine barn at the state fair before falling ill. Two men stabbed at State Fair

Police say two men are hospitalized after being stabbed at the Minnesota State Fair. A portion of the fairgrounds was closed after the incident near an arcade on Dan Patch Avenue. Police said it was not a random stabbing. There were no immediate arrests.
