Eagan's City Council has approved a Maryland-based development firm's proposal for a 420,000-square-foot mall near Cedar Avenue and Highway 13, the Business Journal reports. Construction on the $100 million project will begin next spring.

Officials with Paragon Outlet Partners hope to open the mall in November 2014.

The Paragon Outlet in the Cedar Grove Redevelopment Area will have room for roughly 100 high-end retailers. Some of the tenants may include Barneys New York, Brooks Brothers, Coach, Michael Kors, Neiman Marcus Last Call, and Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th.

The project is expected to generate 400 construction jobs and up to 2,000 retail jobs once it's complete.
