A newborn baby was found alive and two people were arrested in connection to the search for a missing pregnant woman.

Savanna Greywind, a 22-year-old who is 8 months pregnant, was reported missing Saturday afternoon.

She was last seen at her apartment building in north Fargo Saturday at 1:30 p.m., with police noting she'd gone to an apartment in the same building to help her neighbor with a sewing project, Fargo police said Thursday night

Police had searched that apartment a few times, but didn't come up with any leads. Then on Thursday afternoon, they searched the apartment again and found a healthy newborn baby.

"Our investigation thus far indicates the probability that this is Savanna Greywind's child," police said in a Facebook post

Tarita Silk, Greywind's aunt, told The Forum that police told them they found a 2-day-old baby in the building.

The people who live in the apartment – 38 year-old Brooke Lynn Crews and 32 year-old William Henry Hoehn – were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit kidnapping, a felony, according to police.

Greywind still has not been found.

Police say this is a very active investigation, noting detectives will work "many more hours" as they gather evidence and develop new leads.

If anyone has information about where Greywind may be, they're asked to call the Fargo Police Department at 701-235-4493. People can also text a tip to 701-730-8888 or call the department's tip line at 701-241-5777.
