Minneapolis police are investigating a fatal shooting inside Epic nightclub in the Warehouse District early Sunday morning.

KARE reports that police responded to a chaotic scene in the 100 block of 5th Street North just before 1 a.m. They said they found a man dead on the sidewalk outside of the club. The large crowd, gathered to hear the Memphis-based rapper YoGatti, spilled out into the downtown street after the incident, which occurred about an hour before bar closing.

KMSP reports that the suspect fled on foot and remains at large.

KSTP reports that the chaos led Minneapolis police to shut down the light rail line outside the nightclub at around 1:40 a.m. The line was suspended for a time between the stops in the Warehouse District and at Target Field
