No plans this weekend? How about a sloth birthday party...

Georgie the sloth is turning 20!

Cancel your plans – there's a sloth birthday party in Duluth.

The Lake Superior Zoo says Georgie the sloth is turning 20 Sunday. And the zoo is throwing her a party fit for Duluth's favorite sloth.

Guests will watch as Georgie gets special enrichment and birthday snacks at 1:30 p.m., followed by a keeper chat at 2:00 p.m., the Facebook event page says. Hopefully that's enough time for Georgie to celebrate, considering that sloths are the slowest-moving animals on earth, according to LiveScience.

The party's going down on Sunday, Jan. 22 in the Nocturnal Building connected to the Primate Conservation Center. And the first 30 people who show up will be treated to cupcakes.
