According to a pool report, President Barack Obama raised as much as $1.8 million at three fundraisers during a Friday visit to the Twin Cities area. Obama held the events at the Bachelor Farmer restaurant in downtown Minneapolis, which is owned by Gov. Mark Dayton's two sons.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney raised $401,000 in Minnesota during the same period of time. Romney has raised $120 million total nationally.
