Officials: Grandmother, 2 grandchildren victims of car-school bus crash

The three people who died in a fiery crash between a school bus and a car Friday afternoon in Inver Grove Heights were a grandmother and two of her grandchildren, ages 11 and 4, KARE-TV reported.

Their identities have not yet been released.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash at Highway 55 and Argenta Trail at approximately 4 p.m.

No children were aboard the school bus, and the driver was uninjured.

The three people that died in the crash were all in the other vehicle.

The Minnesota State Patrol and Inver Grove Heights authorities are investigating the accident.
