Update: Missing 16-year-old girl found and is on her way home


A 16-year-old girl who had been missing since last Thursday has been found safe, according to the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office.


Wendy Thao had been last seen in Vadnais Heights, the sheriff's office said. At that time, she was getting into a black two-door Infiniti with dark windows.

Officials had ask for the public's help to find her Monday night, and by Tuesday afternoon they said she was on her way home.

Police haven't said who she might have been with or where she's been for the past few days.
