On a hot July night, a Houston County sheriff’s deputy behind the wheel of a Dodge Charger, and a city of Caledonia officer driving a Crown Victoria, raced each other at the Caledonia municipal airport runway, the Winona Daily News reports. The Caledonia officer got a one-month suspension. But the Houston County deputy was not formally disciplined.
