One dead following closing time shooting in Burnsville

One man was dead in a shooting incident that followed an argument outside a Burnsville bar early Sunday morning. KARE 11 reports the man appeared to have died from a gunshot wound to the head.

The Pioneer Press reports police found the victim dead at the scene outside Nina's Grill in Burnsville. They began a search of the area, but they have not located the suspect.

The Minnesota State Patrol, Eagan and Lakeville police, and the Dakota County Sheriff's department also joined the search party's efforts.

KSTP reports that police have not released the name of the victim or a description of the suspect. The station reports that the shooter represents no danger to the public.
