Quick! Who gave the commencement address at any of your graduations?

That's a question that tomorrow's summer graduates at the University of North Dakota ought to be able to answer in the future. WDAZ reports that their speaker, UND alumna Karen Nyberg, is an astronaut who will deliver her commencement message from the International Space Station, where she is in the middle of a six-month mission.

The Vining, Minn., native graduated summa cum laude from UND in 1994. Her degree was in mechanical engineering.

Nyberg, 43, is the recipient of the Sioux Award, the highest honor bestowed by the UND alumni association.
