Emergency crews had to rescue more than 20 people who found themselves trapped on an ice sheet about a half mile off the north shore of Lake Mille Lacs. Kare 11 says no one was hurt. It's not clear what caused the ice to break off.

Two Minnesotans killed after car rolls into Mille Lacs Lake

Two men are dead after their car rolled into Mille Lacs Lake just after midnight Sunday morning. A passenger in the backseat suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The Minnesota State Patrol says alcohol was detected in the driver and both passengers, but it's unclear if it was a factor in the crash.
