Do not touch.

That's the message from Paisley Park to visitors who have posted photos to social media showing them touching Prince's purple piano and other instruments.

Most pictures show people sitting at the piano or placing a hand on it, but others have people lying on the piano, putting a foot up on it, and even licking his guitar.

This prompted outrage from some fans, and a series of tweets from Paisley Park, which said "this shouldn't have happened" and was a breach of policies.

Fans with VIP tickets to the tours Paisley Park are allowed into Studio B to see the piano and take photos. VIP tickets are $100, and are still available for Oct. 21-23, according to Paisley Park's website. General admission tickets cost $38.50.
