Parents of 3-year-old Wis. girl face felony neglect charges in accidental drowning

The parents of 3-year-old Reena Mae Williams have been charged with felony child neglect in the accidental drowning death of the girl in Danbury, Wis., in August, KARE 11 reports.

Jenna Danish and Thomas Williams have been charged by the Burnett County District Attorney's Office, but the judge has yet to issue arrest warrants.

Divers found the body of Reena Williams in a canal hours after she was spotted by a neighbor wandering barefoot in the street. Hundreds of people in and around the Northwest Wisconsin community searched for the girl, who was reported missing.

The local medical examiner determined that Reena Williams' drowning was accidental.
