If you usually take the light rail on weekends, you might have to adjust your plans. Metro Transit says Blue and Green line trains won't be making all their usual Minneapolis stops.

Friday through Monday, crews will be repairing some of the tracks.

On the Green Line, that affects the area between Target Field and Stadium Village stations. For the Blue Line, that affects Target Field to Franklin Avenue stations.

Metro Transit says there will be buses to replace the trains, though. You can find a replacement bus here.

The closure begins at 6:45 p.m. Friday and will last through 5 a.m. Monday.

This is just one of a few upcoming rail closures.

Buses will also replace trains May 12 to 15, June 1 to 5, and June 23 to July 3. For more information on those closures, click here.

And if you drive, you have a whole different set of issues to deal with. The biggest closures and slowdowns will affect I-94 in the Twin Cities. You can get the details on that and all the other construction projects from the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
