Former pornographic film star Crissy Moran will speak about porn and its effects on culture and the community while visiting different towns in northern Minnesota this weekend, the Wadena Pioneer Journal reported.

Moran, a pastor's daughter, will be interviewed on stage at the Comet Theater Saturday in Perham by Pastor Dirk Currier of Northwoods Assembly.

She said she does speaking engagements in the hope she dissuades anyone from getting into the porn business in the future

Moran, who worked in the porn industry for six years, said in a press release, "I thought that my sexuality was all I had. I thought it was the only thing that could bring me love. I never wanted fame or money. I just wanted love."

Moran is also scheduled to speak Saturday night in Fergus Falls.
