A Twin Cities-based bar business is pedaling its way towards Rochester, Minn., the Post Bulletin reports.
PedalPub wants to start renting one of its 16-person bicycles in the downtown area this summer.
The company already rents a dozen rolling bars -- typically limited to beer, wine and hard cider -- in Minnesota. Pedal pubs became legal in the state more than four years ago.
The newspaper says the City Council is discussing the company's intentions and a proposed ordinance that would regulate commercial pedal-car businesses in Rochester.
Rochester Police Chief Roger Peterson told council members he hasn't found any issues with PedalPub.
