Pedestrian killed in Minneapolis motorcycle hit-and-run

The Minneapolis Police Department is asking for the public's help tracking down a suspect driving a motorcycle in a fatal hit-and-run Friday night.

Officers responded to a scene at southbound Cedar Avenue and 27th Street East, where they found an adult male who had been hit by a motorcycle. He was alert and able to communicate with emergency responders, a press release states.

KARE-11 and WCCO both report the victim died Saturday.

The victim's identity is not officially released, but MPD said he was treated at Hennepin County Medical Center with "very serious injuries."

The suspect is described as a white male aged 30 - 35 with light hair and driving a black motorcycle with high handlebars.
