Hatchimals are one of the must-have toys this Christmas.
The demand has been so great that some of those lucky enough to get their hands on them at the stores have been putting them up for sale at several times the asking price.
For its Black Friday sale, which started online on Thanksgiving morning, Walmart had a limited number of Hatchimals – furry, interactive toys that hatch from an egg – which went on sale shortly after midnight.
Unfortunately for most who stayed up late to grab the deal, the first batch sold out within minutes, with shoppers having to wait for stock alerts as Walmart make more available throughout the day.
And considering some of the tweets about the online sale, you can imagine how frantic it will be when Walmart opens its doors for sales at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving evening.
Hatchimals aren't the only coveted item this Black Friday, with the Nintendo NES Classic also in high demand – to the disappointment of shoppers hoping to get their hands on one.
