On Tuesday, the Vikings announced they won't pick up Adrian Peterson's contract option for next season. Today, Peterson is on Twitter with a new video showcasing his strength and athletic ability.

"Not a decline, rather an incline! 32 in a few weeks and still schooling! No warmup sets, straight cold turkey. 2X20," a caption in the video reads.

Job 8:7 Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be. My mindset pic.twitter.com/YPJdRycu92

— Adrian Peterson (@AdrianPeterson) March 1, 2017

Peterson turns 32 on March 21 and because he has missed the majority of two of the last three seasons there are a lot of questions about how much he has left to offer.

A second caption in the video says, "age doesn't matter if matter doesn't age." That likely has to do with Peterson thinking he is a freak of nature, which he is.

Peterson also referenced this scripture quote about a prosperous future and said that's his mindset.
