Hundreds of people gathered for a vigil at J.J. Hill Montessori Thursday evening – the school where 32-year-old Philando Castile worked in the lunch room.

Castile was shot and killed by St. Anthony police during a traffic stop Wednesday night, sparking outrage from the community and prompting the state's governor to ask: would the shooting have happened if Castile were white?
