Investigators have released images of a man suspected in a sexual assault in Minneapolis.

A 33-year-old woman told police she was attacked after she stepped off a bus at about 3 a.m. Saturday near 34th Street East and Chicago Avenue, police said. The images, on the department's Facebook page, are from a surveillance camera on the bus.

A friend of the victim said that the man followed the woman onto a bus after she left a downtown bar, the Star Tribune reports. The woman's friend said the attacker got off the bus at the woman's stop and dragged her to a fenced-in area and assaulted her there, the newspaper reports.

Police have described the suspect as black, 30 to 40 years old, with a thin mustache and possibly a goatee.

Anyone with information is urged to call Minneapolis Police at 612-673-2869.

Three women in three weeks have been assaulted while walking at night in Minneapolis.
