Bankrupt Pinnacle Airlines wooed to travel north
The Metropolitan Airports Commission has approached the Memphis-based company about moving its corporate headquarters to Minnesota -- bringing jobs, revenue and economic growth with it. Pinnacle bought Mesaba Airlines in July 2010 and closed that company's Eagan headquarters earlier this year. "We currently don't have plans to move but every opportunity to reduce costs will be considered," Pinnacle Airlines said in a statement emailed to the Star Tribune.
