WCCO reports that a central Minnesota food company is recalling thousands of pounds of frozen pizza. The company is Junction Pizza of Grey Eagle.
The company didn't list a known allergen, soy lecithin, on the label, according to the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture.
The recalled products bear the establishment number “EST. 40038” or “P-40038” inside the USDA mark of inspection, and a “made on date” between “3 27 13” and “9 23 13” that appears on a sticker on the back of the product. The products were produced between March 27 and Sept. 23, 2013, and shipped to retail stores in the Grey Eagle, Minn., area.
No adverse effects have been reported.
