Plot twist: Guthrie encourages tweeting at select shows

Sir Tyrone Guthrie may never have tweeted, but the Minneapolis theater he founded is all atwitter about the idea. On Thursday one section of the Guthrie Theater will be awash with running commentary, as the theater encourages visitors to use Twitter to express their reactions to the show The Servant of Two Masters.

The Theater announced that it's experimenting with Tweet Seats for a series of four consecutive Thursday night performances.

A Guthrie official told MPR The Servant of Two Masters is especially conducive to Twitter punditry, since the cast consists largely of comedians prone to improvisation.
