Police: Apparent dispute leads to 3 people shot in northern Minnesota
An apparent dispute in northern Minnesota ended with three people being shot Friday night.
According to the Carlton County Sheriff's Office, the incident unfolded when Progress Township man called 911 saying his son had shot his brother in the head before running outside, at which point Montano heard another gunshot.
After arriving at 4020 Kari Road, officers found the man's brother, 57 year old Andrew Gokee, shot in the head. He was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth where his condition is unknown.
A second victim, 38 year old Hudson Gauther of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, suffered a superficial gunshot wound and was treated at the scene.

The man said his son, both of whom we will keep unnamed at this point, ran into the woods where he was located a short time later with a gunshot wound to his chest. It's unclear how he was shot, but he was taken to Essentia St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth for treatment. His condition is also unknown.
No one is in custody as the investigation is ongoing.
The Fond Du Lac Tribal Police Department and Carlton County deputies were first on the scene, followed by ambulances from the Cromwell Fire Department and Cloquet Area Fire District.
