Missing woman last seen with suspect in Burnsville shooting

Rosemount police have arrested a suspect in a deadly shooting in Burnsville, and a 20-year-old University of Minnesota student who may be connected to the case remains missing.

KSTP TV reports that an Eagan man was arrested Tuesday. He is a suspect in the Sept. 22 homicide at Nina's Grill in Burnsville. He had not yet been charged.

Police say a man was killed in that shooting, which started as an argument in the parking lot of Nina's around closing time. Authorities have not released the name of the victim.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that police are still looking for a woman who was last seen with the Eagan suspect on the night of the homicide. Anarae Kristine Schunk, who police say is not a suspect in the case, was reported missing the next evening.

Schunk is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs around 165, with green eyes, and brownish/blond hair.

KARE 11 reports that she was last seen wearing a white zip-up jacket with a University of Minnesota logo on the chest. Police say she was on the University of Minnesota Dean's list during the spring semester.

Authorities ask that anyone with information call the Burnsville police tip line at 952-895-4636 or 911.
