Police ask for help finding Grand Forks area man missing for 2 weeks

Authorities along the Minnesota-North Dakota border are asking for the public's help finding a man missing for a couple weeks.

Sgt. Bill Wyatt with the Grand Forks Police Department's Criminal Investigation Bureau told BringMeTheNews Robert Murphy, 31, hasn't been seen or heard form by his family for about two weeks. They reported him missing late last week.

His family is worried about his welfare, and the Grand Forks Police Department is asking anyone with information to come forward.

Wyatt said they don't have any reason to suspect foul play or believe he's in danger, but declined to get into the specifics of the circumstances when he was last seen.

If you have information, you can contact investigators via phone (701-787-8007) email (investigate@grandforksgov.com) or text message (text the word “Tipster” and the tip to 847411).
