Police in Crystal say they have located the teenager and he is safe.

Officials previously asked the public to help find a teenager who walked away from a group home Friday afternoon.

Authorities say 16-year-old Aaron Thomas was last seen around 3:20 p.m. He's described as having light brown or dark blond hair and blue eyes. He's 5-foot-9 and weights about 140 pounds.

Thomas was last seen wearing a gray zip-up tight-fitting sweatshirt, black jeans, and black and gray Nike shoes. He may have had on an orange undershirt, officials note.

Police say he has a developmental disability and is considered vulnerable.

Family members thought the teenager may be headed to the Mall of America or somewhere in Minneapolis.
