Occupy protesters gain meeting with Rybak

Occupy Minnesota protesters will meet with Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak Tuesday to discuss the weekend arrests of a dozen demonstrators. The Occupy movement alleges police brutality. Forty members marched to Rybak's office to demand the meeting. Police Chief Tim Dolan has acknowledged cops may have gone too far in knocking a camera off the shoulder of a news photographer.

But he would not condemn the police department's actions during the arrests of 12 protesters Saturday.

The demonstration shut down traffic for about an hour Thursday afternoon. Minneapolis police arrested the activists for 'creating a public nuisance.' The protesters marched to the bridge to celebrate the two-month anniversary of the anti-Wall Street movement.
