Police have identified a man who was stabbed to death at a north Minneapolis bus shelter on Friday. It was just a few days after another stabbing on a bus in St. Paul, and a few months after another fatal stabbing in St. Paul that stemmed from a bus argument that spilled onto the sidewalk.

Police have identified a man who was stabbed to death at a north Minneapolis bus shelter on Friday, WCCO reports. Police said Evander Lazar Partee, 46, of Minneapolis, died in a stabbing at the intersection of Lyndale and 18th avenues at about 7:30 p.m. Friday.

There have been other incidents of bus violence in recent months.

A Minneapolis man was charged in a Sept. 18, knife attack aboard a Route 16 Metro Transit bus in downtown St. Paul, the Pioneer Press reports." It was the second time since May that Deshaun Henry Williams, 22, has been cited for assault on the same bus route, the newspaper reported.

There was another stabbing after a fight on a bus spilled onto a St. Paul sidewalk in July.
