There was a bank robbery in Roseville earlier this week. Now authorities are asking for help to identify the suspect.

According to a press release from the police department, a lone suspect entered the U.S. Bank branch inside of Lunds and Byerly's in Roseville shortly before closing time on Monday.

Police say the suspect "announced his intentions" and threatened the bank employees, claiming to have a bomb (though they never showed a weapon, and nothing was later found). He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a 30 to 35-year-old black or mixed race male with a medium complexion. He's about 5 foot 5 inches tall with a thin build, and was wearing a green “poofy” style winter jacket with a baseball cap and a fake beard and mustache.

Authorities say anyone who recognizes the suspect or knows his whereabouts should call 911 – do not approach this person. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 1- 800-222-8477.
