Authorities say the man indicted in the slaying of 18-year-old Brittany Clardy may also be responsible for the death of a second woman, whose body was found in the trunk of a car at a Minneapolis towing lot.

FOX 9 reports the body of 24-year-old Klaressa Lorayne Cook of Georgia was found in the truck of a gold Lexus at Wreckers Services Inc. last week after employees noticed an odor coming from the car, which was towed to the lot on April 11.

Brooklyn Park police say 24-year-old Alberto Prece Palmer of Woodbury is the main suspect in the case, according to KARE 11.

Palmer is already facing first-degree murder after using a hammer to kill Clardy. The young woman was found dead in February concealed inside a car that had been towed to a Columbia Heights impound lot.

Police believe Clardy was working as a prostitute when she was killed.

Palmer is a fugitive from Georgia and has several warrants for kidnapping, criminal sexual conduct, assault and false imprisonment.
