An afternoon fight where participants used clubs, sticks and brass knuckles left at least one woman with stab wounds, and police are trying to find anyone who may have watched it all go down.
St. Cloud PD said it got a call of seven people – four men, three women – fighting around 3 p.m. Sunday, near a strip mall on the 2100 block of 8th Street N. There they found a 24-year-old woman who had been stabbed on her mouth, nose and left arm.
The stabbing victim responded by punching the attacker with brass knuckles, police said. The person who did the stabbing is a 25-year-old woman that is already wanted in another case, according to the PD. She was arrested late Sunday at a St. Cloud home and is facing possible assault charges.
The meeting that led to the fight was "prearranged," police said. And the fight itself might have been planned too.
And surveillance video of the scene shows there are several people who weren't part of the fight, but saw it. Police are asking anyone who saw what happened to call the department as soon as possible at 320-251-1200.
The woman who was stabbed was taken to a St. Cloud hospital to treat her "significant" injuries, but none of them are expected to be life-threatening.
Police are investigating, and said they aren't releasing any other information at this time.
