Missing Minneapolis teenager found safe

Minneapolis police say that 15-year-old Charo White who hadn't been seen since Saturday has been found safe.

KSTP reports someone who had seen Charo's picture on the news spotted the teen near 42nd and Irving avenues north in Minneapolis around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and called police.

Charo was last seen in the area of Xerxes and Plymouth avenues north and investigators believed she may have been in a dangerous situation.

The Minneapolis Police Department also notified officers in Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center to keep a lookout for Charo.

FOX 9's Tom Lyden called the situation potentially "exploitive."
