Brooklyn Park boy, 11, found safe
Shortly after police issued an advisory Friday, a Brooklyn Park boy reported missing Thursday was found safe.
Brooklyn Park police alerted the public Friday morning to keep an eye out for 11-year-old Chelson Enow Orock, who didn't return home from Palmer Lake Elementary School.
The Pioneer Press said the boy was reported missing around 8:30 p.m. Thursday by his parents, who told police he most likely ran away.
KARE 11 reported Brooklyn Park Police and Fire Departments, along with the Hennepin County Sheriff's office had been searching the area since Thursday night and interviewed classmates Friday.
Chelson was located shortly before noon.
