Police seek suspect in armed robberies at bus stops in St. Louis Park

Police are offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for two armed robberies at Metro Transit bus stops in St. Louis Park this week.

KARE 11 reports the robberies on Wednesday and Thursday this week happened between 6 and 7 a.m. along eastbound Minnetonka Boulevard.

In both cases the suspect approached the victims, who were alone, and brandished a handgun and demanded money, cell phones and other personal items before taking off, WCCO says.

The gunman is described as an African American man, approximately 5 feet 5 inches with a medium build. Witnesses say he was wearing a mask, dark hoody sweatshirt or a puffy-style jacket.

If you have any information, call 911 or the St. Louis Park Crime Tip Line at 952-924-2165.
