Police: missing 34-year-old Wis. woman found safe

Authorities say a missing 34-year-old woman from Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., has been found safe.

Wisconsin Rapids police on the department Facebook page on Friday offered this update in the search for Jennifer R. Wilson: "Today, at 12:00pm, your Wisconsin Rapids Police Department received information from the La Crosse County Sheriff's Department that Jennifer Wilson has been located in their county and is safe. We would like to thank all of those who viewed and shared the information about this incident to help to find her."

Details about where Wilson has been were not immediately disclosed.

Family members had said Wilson left La Crosse, Wis., at about 8 p.m. Tuesday and was expected back home in Wisconsin Rapids, about 100 miles northeast of La Crosse.
