Digital River warns of sales slowdown

Shares of e-retailer Digital River got hammered in after-hours trading Tuesday after it said it expects a slowdown in second-quarter sales to continue for the rest of the year. The stock fell $2.58 or 14.5 percent in after-hours trading, to $15.21. Minnetonka-based Digital River, which operates online stores for many software and consumer electronics makers, reported that revenue for the quarter ending June 30 fell 2 percent to $90.8 million.

Mall of America selects partner for expansion project

Locally based Ryan Cos. has reached an agreement with the Bloomington mall to help develop and build an addition on the north side. The $200 to $250 million project on the includes new retail space, a luxury hotel and a medical office building. Work is set to begin next spring.

He has more than 20 years of experience and is currently the executive director at The Ohio State University. Small town Minn. theater struggles to stay open in age of digital conversion

A small town theater that's been open for more than 60 years in Milica is facing extinction unless it converts to modern projection methods. The Milica Theatre's owners tell KARE-TV that they are struggling to put together funds to convert from its traditional, 35 millimeter projector to the $70,000 digital projection system that's been mandated by the movie industry.
