Prince is reportedly touring the UK and Europe, but only bringing a piano.

The Purple One hasn't made an official announcement, but according to Dr. Funkenberry he told reporters at Paisley Park over the weekend he'll (tentatively) be stopping in 16 cities throughout 11 countries soon for the "Prince Spotlight: Piano & A Microphone" tour.

The official Prince Twitter account did link to an article about the unannounced tour though, and made a translation correction.

And this other tweet about Prince and his piano.

There's also this on his Instagram from Sunday.

Prince said he wanted to do the stripped down act because it's "a challenge," reports Spanish-language newspaper El País. (Editor's note: You can view it in Chrome with the translate option, but it's also the story Spin, the Liverpool Echo and others have cited.)

He continued: "I rarely get bad reviews because this is something that's been perfected 4 over thirty years. You have to try new things. With the piano it is more naked, more pure. You can see exactly what you get."

Dr. Funkenberry says the tour will start Nov. 21 in Vienna and run for about a month.
