Prometric closes St. Paul location, 100 jobs elminated

Close to 100 jobs in St. Paul will be eliminated due to Prometric, Inc. closing its Energy Park facility.

The Pioneer Press reports the Baltimore-based provider of educational testing services is consolidating operations in a new $12 million center opening in Maryland this June.

The company will retain a testing office in Woodbury and 11 employees in the Twin Cities. Prometric plans to open a new office somewhere in the Twin Cities for the remaining employees.
