The campaign trail has been getting a little bumpy lately for Republicans in Minnesota.
Gay-rights supporters glitter-bombed Ron Paul as he left the stage after a campaign rally at the Minneapolis Convention Center (WCCO):
And Hecklers interrupted Newt Gingrich in Bloomington. Things got a little heated when an audience member shoved one of the protesters (the Atlantic):
Minnesota Public Radio says the protesters at the Gingrich rally were high-schoolers from Edina and calls it a sign of the city's changing politics.
The latest protests come less than week after the "glitterati" struck Mitt Romney, twice, during a rally in Eagan.
