Body confirmed as missing NDSU student; hundreds gather for vigils

The Minnesota Bureau of Apprehension will lead the investigation into the death of college student Tom Bearson. The Sartell 18-year-old was a freshman at North Dakota State University. He vanished in Fargo early Saturday morning and his body was found yesterday across the river in Moorhead. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner will perform the autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Delta’s big MSP plans: New planes, a nonstop trip to Asia and more

Delta will strengthen its presence at the Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport. Richard Anderson, the airline’s CEO, was in the Twin Cities yesterday. He said Delta will increase the size of planes serving the airport and will increase the number of seats available by 8 percent over the next 5 years. He also said Delta will add a new non-stop to Asia, hinting it might be a flight to China.

After 16 years, Garth Brooks coming back to Minneapolis with 4 shows

Sixteen years after his last shows in Minneapolis, Garth Brooks is coming back for four shows at Target Center in November. He'll be playing two shows per night on Nov. 14 and 15. Tickets go on sale Oct. 3. There are rumors that if the Minneapolis shows sell out, he'll add more performances.
