Criminal charges unlikely in cases of 10 priests accused of abuse

Criminal charges will probably not be filed in 10 cases of alleged sexual abuse of minors by Catholic priests. Ramsey County Attorney John Choi said the incidents are likely too old to pursue. St Paul police spent the past year investigating cases from the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. The criminal investigations came after civil lawsuits – no longer subject to statute of limitations laws – were filed against the church.

Charges: Facebook feud prompts woman to beat stranger with mini baseball bat

A feud between two women started on Facebook and spilled over to the streets. Now one woman is accused of beating the other with a mini baseball bat. Bridget Olson is charged with second-degree assault in Ramsey County. The fight left the other woman with significant injuries. The two hadn't met face to face before the brawl on the St. Paul street.

Zach Lowe: Timberwolves’ court design ‘trying and failing to be fearsome’

In an offbeat power rankings piece, Grantland’s Zach Lowe ranked all 30 NBA teams’ court designs. He put the Timberwolves at 26th, saying the two-toned design and growling wolf logo is “trying and failing to be fearsome.” He did give some love to the color scheme and font choice, however.
