Law enforcement officials on Friday recovered a male body from the Mississippi River near the Ford Dam. Police believe the body to be that of a man who jumped from the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis last week, the Pioneer Press reports.
KSTP says the report about the body came in around 9:30 a.m. Friday.
Four people have gone into the river from the Stone Arch Bridge in the last month, including two Wisconsin teens, the Pioneer Press reports.
The body of 18-year-old Dakotah Coach of Hammond, Wis., was recovered from the same area of the river near the Ford Dam on Tuesday.
Coach drowned after he jumped from the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis last week with his girlfriend, 16-year-old Erika Borgstrom. She's also presumed drowned, but her body is still missing.
