Report: Body of 27-year-old missing woman found near her home
The body of 27-year-old Amy Dow, missing since Jan. 27 in northern Minnesota, has been found.
Lakeland News first broke the news through a Facebook message to Dow's mother, Chele Kalstabakken, who has since posted to Facebook.
"Oh my gosh...i don't think I can accept this...i'm still thinking she's coming home," Kalstabakken wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
The FBI and Red Lake Police Department have not released an update, but Lakeland News says family members found Dow's body near her home in Pomenah, Minnesota, which is a small town tucked on the Red Lake Indian Reservation between the east sides of Upper Red Lake and Lower Red Lake in Beltrami County.
A GoFunMe page that was offering a reward to find her says Dow was the mother of three boys and one girl.
The cause of death is unknown at this time.
